Perpetrator & Victim Of Abuse – The Dubble-Edged Healing

Perpetrator & Victim Of Abuse

We are faced with one of the most extremist expressions of powerlessness and pain humanity has witnessed in the wide and open, in some time. It is the action of disconnecting from human suffering to the point where we become capable of inflicting it upon another.

And as it calls many into shock and turbulance, it is a time to come together and understanding the dynamics of a perpetrator & experiencer of abuse. I am inviting you to today to look at this in a new way.

It is a controversial idea to many that it is also the man behind the action, someone capable of inhuman deed, which is in need of healing, just as much or if not more than the experiencer of the abuse itself.

The truth is, it takes exceptional human pain, powerlessness and emotional disconnect to be capable of such ‘crime’, and to inflict such ruthless suffering to another living being. Behind the scenes, this is a pain most could not even imagine – the pain influencing an action which completely bypasses emotional empathy.

Because it is so clear to the human understanding, that an experiencer of abuse, is in pain, we often forget that there is another side of the equation which is actually screaming for help.

The man behind the gun is a man in pain.

The man behind the trigger is a man in pain.

The man behind the decisions of destructive troops is a man in pain.

Sometimes this is not directly seen by the human eye.

This is saying that in the dynamic of the abuser and the experiencer of abuse, BOTH SIDES to the equation need to be seen within the light and subject of healing.

To understand what healing means, it is to embrace the idea that pain, powerlessness or suffering emotionally can find a way to release into relief. So that inside, there is not the same pressure of pain, isolation or a brutal sense of disconnect.

It is not to enable the ACTION of pain, it is to enable HEALING of the pain that influenced someone to become capable of inflicting human suffering.

And if we wish to evolve as a species, as a humanity, we must understand the components of not punishing, but creating an actual environment for the release of the emotional suffering that influence and create destructive action – the more we understand, the more we can use this understanding as humanity.

I want you reader, to try this today. Come to a space within your heart to see the human suffering, also within the side of the equation which pulls the trigger, drops the bomb on an entire group or society, or makes the decision to invade a country.

See it within yourself that this comes from pain. Just as much as we may already understand the incredible terror, unsafety and pain of experiencing abuse

May this person find emotional relief. May he see the love within himself so he could not inflict pain on another, without seeing he is also the one he is inflicting pain on.
